Solutions Tailored to Brazil’s Fish and Shrimp Feed Production

Brazil is a leading global tilapia producer and a key shrimp farming market in South America. As farming scales expand and quality standards rise, feed companies are increasingly investing in specialized production lines to meet this growing demand.
Leveraging Brazil’s rich agricultural resources, local aquafeed formulas typically rely on base ingredients like soybean meal, corn, broken rice, and cassava meal, combined with protein sources such as fish meal. To match this unique requirement, the RICHI aquafeed production line is designed to process a wide variety of common raw materials, offering your business the flexibility to optimize feed formulas.
In markets focused on tilapia and shrimp, feed products must cover various specifications and growth stages. By adjusting formulas and processing parameters, a single system can produce both floating fish feed and shrimp feed. This allows you to flexibly adjust production plans in response to market changes.
Whether for a new regional project or an expansion of an existing feed mill, RICHI provides customized solutions based on your specific raw materials, target products, and capacity goals. We build fish and shrimp feed production systems that are perfectly aligned with the demands of the Brazilian market.
Details of Fish/Shrimp Feed Pellet Line Project in Brazil
This 8-ton-per-hour line is designed to produce high-quality fish and shrimp feed. Our client, a major aquaculture farmer, needed a dedicated feed system to ensure a stable supply and superior quality as their farming operations expanded.
The client required a single line that could produce both fish and shrimp feed, with the ability to adjust pellet sizes and formulas. Our solution was designed for easy switching between products to meet various market orders.
The line covers the full production process: raw material handling, mixing, extrusion, drying, sparying, cooling, and packaging. The extrusion system is key, allowing us to adjust settings to create the perfect pellets for both fish and shrimp. The drying and coating systems ensure the final product is stable and high-quality.
Regarding workshop layout, the design was customized to fit the client’s existing space, ensuring smooth operation and easy maintenance. Once running, the feed processing plant allows flexible production based on market demand, giving the client plenty of room for future product expansion.

Tailored Solutions for 8 T/H Shrimp Fish Feed Production Line
Before finalizing the 8 t/h fish and shrimp feed production plan for Brazil, our engineering team engaged in in-depth discussions with the client to confirm the following details:

Target pellet sizes and corresponding farming stages

Main local raw materials and formula characteristics

Required production capacity and operating hours

Desired level of automation and staffing needs

Workshop dimensions and layout conditions

Potential for adding new products in the future

Space reserved for future expansion

Local power supply and installation conditions
After fully understanding the client’s requirements, we finalized the complete fish and shrimp feed production solution.
The fish & shrimp feed production line mainly includes the following sections:
Crushing System
Raw materials like soybean meal and corn arrive at the factory already cleaned and screened. Therefore, no dedicated cleaning equipment is needed. The materials enter the workshop and go directly into the grinding section to achieve the required fineness for fish and shrimp feed.
01
Mixing System
Since the client produces both fish and shrimp feed, the ingredient ratios vary by product. The mixing section ensures that soybean meal, corn, broken rice, and other raw materials are fully blended to create a uniform mixture.
02
Extrusion System
This is the core of the entire production line. The equipment is designed to produce both fish and shrimp feed. By changing the molds and adjusting process parameters, it can create pellets of different specifications.
03
Drying System
Pellets coming out of the extruder have high temperature and moisture content, so they must go through the drying process. Both the fish and shrimp feed undergo this step before moving to the next stage.
04
Spraying System
Some products require added oil, so the line is equipped with a coating unit. The client can adjust the oil addition amount based on the formula. Products that do not need coating can pass through directly.
05
Cooling & Screening System
After drying and coating, the pellets enter the cooling section to reduce their temperature. Then, a screening machine separates fine powder and broken pellets, ensuring the final product looks neat and consistent.
06
Packaging System
The client plans to sell the finished products to surrounding farms and feed markets. Therefore, the line is equipped with automatic weighing and packaging equipment, making storage and transportation convenient.
07

Complete Shrimp Feed Pellet Line Delivery Process

Machine Production
After the customer confirmed the plan and signed the contract, our factory immediately began production.
During production, our engineers rigorously monitor every step—from material selection to assembly and commissioning—following unified quality standards to ensure reliable performance and stable operation.
At the same time, to let customers know the progress more, we regularly capture photos and videos of the equipment manufacturing process, showcasing key equipment and semi-finished products. In this way, customers can clearly see the whole process of step-by-step molding of the whole production line even if they are not on site.

Equipment Delivery
Once all fish & shrimp feed production equipment is fully manufactured and the necessary accessories for the aquatic feed production line are prepared, we will arrange shipment according to the delivery schedule confirmed with you.

Installation, Commissioning, and Training
After the equipment arrives at the customer’s project site, we offer flexible installation support options: You can install it yourself or have our engineers assist on-site.
For this project, the customers chose self-installation. To ensure a smooth installation, we provided detailed installation drawings in advance and provided online guidance. If any problems arise during installation, our technical team will timely provide solutions to get the line running smoothly.
Upon the completion of installation and commissioning, we provide on-site or remote training covering equipment operation, maintenance, and production management. This ensures our clients achieve stable production quickly.
Furthermore, we offer comprehensive after-sales service and spare parts support. Even after the warranty period, clients can always access our technical assistance, guaranteeing the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Client Evaluation and Project Operation Status
Recently, our after-sales department received feedback from the client:
“We really needed equipment that could handle both fish and shrimp feed, and RICHI delivered exactly what we wanted. The line is easy to switch between products and hits the production volume we planned. The technical support throughout the process was excellent and played a key role in getting the project up and running smoothly.”
