Driven by the rising demand for quality feed in Poland—especially for carp and trout—one of our clients embarked on a mission to build a modern, localized fish feed production line. Their goal was clear: reduce reliance on imports and meet the specific needs of the cold-water fish market, from sinking to high-stability floating feeds.
Tailored for Complex Recipes
The project faced a key challenge: handling a mix of local grains (wheat, corn, rapeseed) alongside high-value imports like fish meal and soybean meal. To ensure perfect uniformity and stability for these high-protein, high-oil formulas, RICHI Machinery delivered a comprehensive solution featuring a micro-grinding system, automatic batching, and a twin screw extruder.

To meet strict European standards for quality and eco-friendliness, we integrated an automatic drying and cooling system, vacuum coating, and a PLC intelligent control system. This automation not only enhances the palatability and oil uniformity of the feed but also enables the production of advanced functional feeds.

Raw Material Processing System
Tailored for Poland’s raw material profile—domestic wheat, corn, and rapeseed meal mixed with imported high-protein ingredients like fish meal and soybean meal—this system features precision grinding and stable conveying. This ensures excellent mixing uniformity and consistent extrusion performance.

Smart Batching & Mixing System
The system automatically and precisely proportions various raw materials and micro-additives based on formulas for different fish species (such as Carp and Trout). This minimizes human error and enhances the stability of high-protein feed formulas.

To meet the Polish market’s demand for sinking, slow-sinking, and high-stability floating feed, this project utilizes a single-screw extrusion process. It stably produces cold-water fish feed of various densities and sizes, perfectly compatible with high-protein and high-oil formulas.

Adopting a uniform, low-temperature drying method, this system reduces energy consumption while effectively controlling pellet moisture content, thereby improving the storage stability of the finished product.

To meet the production needs for functional feed and high-oil formulas, the system is equipped with post-coating technology. It ensures the uniform application of oils, vitamins, and functional additives, enhancing both palatability and nutrient adhesion.

The entire production line is equipped with a PLC intelligent control system. It provides centralized monitoring of key processes—including batching, extrusion, drying, and coating—ensuring stable, continuous production while lowering operational pressure caused by high labor costs in Europe.

Poland Fish Feed Pellet Plant Configuration
For the 2 t/h fish feed plant project in Poland, all the equipment on this line was independently developed and manufactured by RICHI Machinery. We offer quality guarantees and lifetime after-sales service.
The equipment used in this project includes a hammer mill, a twin shaft paddle mixer, a 2t/h wet type fish feed extruder, a mesh belt dryer, a vaccum sprayer, a stainless steel cooler and one ton bag scale. These fish food production equipment were custom-designed to meet the production capacity of the line.

After the customer confirmed the plan and signed the contract, our factory immediately began production.
